After reading the previous Ananlysis page, you can see that it could be tedious to compute a dhcpd.conf entry for each machine. We however, live in a world filled sith computers, and most redundant calculations can be coded for a computer to do for us. This process becomes easier with a program...

I have tried to create some form-to-cgi pages that allow you to enter in data about your desired setup, and have it make a sample entry for you.

Verbose Descriptions of Data being requested can be found on this form to take you on a step-by-step review of each entry with a description of what could be an expected value for each field, and a partial explanation of its function. This is a good place to go for the first time user since it holds your hand while you enter your data. After you are familiar with the fields, their values, and functions, then you may want to use the more condensed form below.

A briefer, shorter, smaller, more condensed, more concentrated, more direct, less descriptive form with minimal direction is available here for having most of the data being entered fit on one page for quick and easy reading and review/modification. This link takes you to a page that has eliminated many of the descriptions that make the first linked page so long.

Both of the above forms are set up to spawn a new Netscape Window when you submit the data. This is done so that the user can submit data, and move the window out of the way, and then change some data quickly and press submit again. If this feature is too lame, and you want to just use the back function, let me know, and I will look into changing that back.

Feel free to use this one for now. I plan on releasing a perl version when I have time. If you want to code a perl version, I am willing to link to it so that others can put up their own form pages for this.
